About Us

Founded in 2016, AST has been active in the community, offering educational support and extracurricular classes to students across Howard County. All our instructors and tutors are high school and college students looking to make a positive impact in their community.

Over the past four years, AST has served over 500 students across the county and has benefitted over 100 instructors and tutors.

Most notably, since the 2017-18 school year, AST received a grant from the Howard County government and state government to offer our services free of charge to students who are from low income families and/or who are part of the ESOL program. You can read more about our work in this area here.
